Nowadays, instrumental analysis methods have advanced and rapidly developed in various fields such as medicine, pharmaceuticals, environment, materials, textiles, agriculture, natural resources, mining, chemistry, oil, gas, petrochemicals, nanotechnology, biotechnology, etc., to assist researchers and meet their needs using innovative methods. The Analysis Laboratory in Research Core Facility of Isfahan University of Medical Sciences is equipped with advanced devices and ready to provide laboratory services in the fields of identification and measurement of alcohols, toxins, various environmental pollutants, aromatic compounds, biological monitoring, drugs, etc., identification and measurement of amino acids, nucleic acids, hydrocarbons, antibiotics, steroids, determination of carbon, nitrogen, hydrogen, sulfur, and oxygen elements in solid samples, and differential thermal analysis (DTA) as well as thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA). The specialized equipment in this laboratory includes simultaneous thermal analysis (STA), gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS), high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), medium-pressure liquid chromatography (MPLC), high-performance thin-layer chromatography (HPTLC), and elemental analysis (CHNSO).
