This laboratory has been created for the cultivation of engineered and industrial microorganisms on a small-scale and large-scale in order to optimize and produce biotechnology-based products in bacterial and engineered yeast hosts. Additionally, antibacterial tests are conducted in this laboratory.
Some of the equipment in this laboratory include a 5-liter glass fermenter, a class II laminar flow hood, and an incubator shaker. Furthermore, the services provided by this laboratory include microbial cultivation, examination of the antibiotic properties of substances, microbial MTT, and conducting MIC and MBC experiments.
